Information you provide and quotation requests
Depending on the form you use, you may provide your name, email address, telephone number, address, postcode and city, the service you are interested in, how you heard about EcoClima, your preferred language for a consultation and details of your project. We also receive the information you choose to include in your message or in your communications with EcoClima.
This information helps us understand your enquiry, contact you, answer your questions and prepare the quotation you requested. Where processing is necessary to assess your quotation request, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
The forms indicate which fields must be completed to send a request. Without the necessary contact details, we cannot reply; without useful information about your project, we may ask for clarification before preparing a quotation. Please limit free-text entries to information relevant to your enquiry and avoid including sensitive personal data.
Retention of enquiries
Contact and quotation enquiries, in forms and email correspondence, are retained for 180 days. EcoClima does not use these enquiries to send a newsletter or commercial follow-up messages.
Cookies and website tools
The website integrates CookieYes to present cookie choices. It also includes Google Tag Manager, which manages tags, Google Analytics 4 for audience measurement and Meta Pixel for advertising measurement. Audience measurement and advertising cookies that are not strictly necessary require your prior consent. That consent is the legal basis for processing personal data for these purposes.
The CookieYes panel lets you view the categories offered and express your choices. You can reopen it using the Manage my cookie preferences link. A cookie choice is separate from submitting a quotation request. A cookie’s lifetime in your browser must not be confused with the retention period for data collected by the relevant tool.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access to your data, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, and exercise your rights to data portability and to object. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Exercising these rights is generally free of charge. The GDPR requires a response within one month, with a possible extension of two months depending on the complexity or number of requests; that extension must be explained to you within the first month. Where there is reasonable doubt about your identity, additional information necessary to verify it may be requested.
